New members: roles and responsibilities
plaNext is growing and seeks to recruit Editor-in-Chief and four editorial board members. Together, the Editorial Board actively manages the review process, peer review papers, and publish research findings in plaNext. The Editorial Board works through a lively and informal process and the new members are expected to have the same spirits.
Editor-in-chief, and through collaboration with the editorial board, is responsible for coordinating all matters of the journal including the operational and other policy-related matters. Among other tasks: strategic planning; final decisions on special volumes; monitoring the publication process, employment of the ethical policy, writing editorial texts.
The editorial board members are to manage the publication processes as well as to advise and support the Editor-in-Chief. Among their tasks, managing special volumes when needed; monitoring the review process; reviewing manuscripts; direct contact with authors.
