Description:

Fully-funded guest researcher position 

The IUR is looking for a visiting urban researcher for a one-month research stay at Malmö University between 5 February – 21 June 2024 or 19 August – 21 December 2024. The selected scholar will have the opportunity to conduct research at the IUR and participate in the Institute’s research activities.

The guest researchers’ actual presence in Malmö will be agreed upon before the start of the Spring term. 

Profile and requirements

  • You have obtained a doctoral degree (PhD) not earlier than 2016 and have a proven record in research on urban issues.
  • You have experience with multidisciplinary research.
  • You commit to presenting your research and research results in at least one seminar for staff and one guest lecture for students.
  • You participate actively in the activities of the IUR.
  • You may consider being a guest editor for our in-house popular science journal Urban Matters.
