KU Leuven's International Center of Urbanism (ICoU) calls all students (Master, PhD, recent graduates) in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Urban Design, Bio-Engineering and Geography for the REFLIP Winter School: Regenerating Kortrijk-Noord in Belgium!
Co-envision circular transition scenarios aimed at regenerating Kortrijk-Noord’s industrial built environment as well as its resource landscape. Meticulously working with existing material and immaterial resources, is the winter school’s circular thinking approach. It is all about avoiding new construction and raw resource extraction, while regenerating ecologies.
The winter school commits to reparative and regenerative approaches, and focuses on the art of repairing, reusing, and repurposing resources contained in the landscape, infrastructure, buildings and their components.
The Winter School takes place on site from 4 February until 10 February 2024. Apply before 6 October 2023. NO registration fee!
