The AESOP Young Academics Network warmly invites young planning academics from around the world to join the AESOP YA General Assembly during the 6th World Planning Schools Congress (WPSC 2026), taking place in Helsinki and Espoo, Finland.
The General Assembly is open to all young planning academics. As one of the largest democratic gatherings for young planning academics globally, the Assembly provides an opportunity to reflect on AESOP YA’s recent activities, discuss shared challenges across regions, and shape priorities for the coming term.
The session will include updates on AESOP YA’s initiatives, discussions on the evolving needs of young scholars, and conversations about how to strengthen collaboration, participation, and support within the international planning community.
