Short Biography

I am a PhD researcher at the Department of Planning and Environment, University of Groningen. My research interest focuses on the multi-level governance in local urban pluvial flood risk management: the institutional rules of local authorities and local collectives, their planning behaviors to achieve interdependencies of the formal and informal world, and the conditioning for multi-level interdependencies. Currently, I am conducting research in Guangzhou and Shenzhen (my hometown region) and Shanghai in China, and Amsterdam, and Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
