They have a lot of interesting posts (in the category Anthropologies) debating the issue of students debt in the US (a theme which is getting meaning well outside the US borders) and the future of public university in general, from a number of perspectives: individual and collective experiences of studying on debt, debates about upward mobility and its rhetoric, thought ons making a PhD without funding.
They also have a very good category about open access, where issues such as copyright law in scholarly communication, the public role of science, open access in monographs are debated. They also update about open published stuff in anthropology.
