The 5th World Planning Schools Conference and the 16th Asian Planning Schools Association Congress WPSC-APSA 2022 are being held in Bali, Indonesia from 29 August to 2 September 2022.
In conjunction with WPSC-APSA, two opportunities for planning students (both PhD and professional) will be held on this conference: The International Students Competition and the International PhD Colloquium.
The invitation for the International Students Competition is directed toward planning students to present their studio projects dealing with global transformation and encourage them to showcase their work to a broader audience. This competition will be examined by the Global Planning Education Association Network - GPEAN (of which AESOP is part) representative judges and it's looking for planning concept, originality, innovation, content and quality of presentation. More details of the competition can be found here.
For PhD students and candidates worldwide, the International PhD colloquium is an invitation to join a discussion forum and present their research on planning-related issues and discipline in the different stages of the dissertation: Proposal, analysis, discussion, methods, etc. It will be an excellent opportunity for supervisors and PhD students to expand knowledge on the current planning scholarship and join a global network of PhD students and schools offering PhD programs in the planning discipline. More details of this colloquium can be found here.
